Tattys & Co's 1st Friend - Homer

This is Homer.

He is Raymonds Scarecrow & Tatty & Co's 1st Scarecrow friend.

This is Romeo, another Scarecrow friend for Tatty & Co that Raymond has made

I was thinking this morning, that I will have to make a Lady Scarecrow - a friend for Tatty Bogie Gump that I will put on my new plot - plot 144 - The problem is, I will need a name for her for inspiration - your suggestions via the comments please!

Hi Ali - I LOVE your scarecrows but, tell me, do they actually work? I've just been to my plopment to find the b****** pigeons have had a go at my brassicas so have spent a couple of hours creating a cage with net that doesn't quite fit until I get something better, but if the fake guys on sticks work perhaps I can get my nieces and nephews to make one for me...

Hi Boudicca,
What can I say but "there ain't no birdies on my plot!" No really I have had none of our feathered friends even pecking at my onions! So in my opinion yes, they do work!
Let me know when you have made yours - pictures please, so Tatty & Co. can have more friends.

Well, as you're after names for a scarecrow's girlfriend, what about Aunt Sally? She's done the job before, i.e. she was Worzel Gummidge's chick for a while.

They separated in 1997 when Worzel's pole rotted.

Ali,
how about Toto or Dorothy or Elphaba( all from wizard of oz) as scarecrows make the think of the book and movie.
You have reminded me that I need to get my scarecrow frame out and give it a dressing up.I'll post some pics tomorrow on my blog for all to see.
American Jeanie!
